High school diploma or equivalent required
3 years recent aircraft maintenance experience required — A&P license considered equivalent
F/A-18E/F and/or EA-18G Plane Captain experience required
Valid driver's license required
Must be a U.S. Citizen — facility credentials require U.S. citizenship
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
Position requires occasional travel

Pay: $38.28/hr now — increasing to $39.43/hr on January 1, 2027

About the Role Amentum is looking for an Aircraft Worker to support U.S. Naval Air Station maintenance operations at NAS Whidbey Island. You'll perform pre and post-operational checks, fueling, aircraft launch and recovery, daily and conditional inspections and maintenance on aircraft systems and components. You'll work from NAVAIR technical manuals and Maintenance Requirement Cards, make repairs and replacements to aircraft parts and accessories and ensure every aircraft is safe and ready to fly. An active, skilled role at one of the most important naval air stations in the Pacific Northwest — for someone who takes pride in precision and safety.
