Hi, I'm Jenn. I live in Clinton and I launched Whidbey Island Jobs in March 2026.

The idea came from something I kept hearing on both sides of the hiring equation. Employers frustrated that they couldn't find people to join their teams. Job seekers not finding enough opportunities on the Island. Two groups looking for each other — and not quite connecting.

When I was looking for a job on the Island, the big national job boards weren't helping. They're crowded with listings from everywhere, ghost jobs that look active but have long since been filled, and outright scams disguised as local opportunities. What started as a tool to simplify job searching has become something that takes more time than it saves.

This board is designed to focus exclusively on Whidbey Island — every listing is reviewed, every employer is real and every job is posted for 30 days. I reach out to employers directly if I have questions about a listing before it goes live, because I want job seekers to trust what they find here.

My hope is simple — that Whidbey Island Jobs becomes the first place local employers think of when they have a role to fill, and the first place Islanders look when they're ready for something new.
