What is it?
The NAS Whidbey Island Fleet and Family Support Center hosts a Career Fair three times a year connecting job seekers with local and national employers. This event is open to military members, dependents, veterans, retirees and everyone in our Island community — all are welcome.
When and where:
Thursday, June 18, 2026 10am to 1pm Bakerview Conference and Event Center 1080 W. Ault Field Rd, Oak Harbor, WA 98277

- Make connections that can lead to real opportunities
- Explore career resources
- Get your resume reviewed on the spot
Who will be there:
So far, the confirmed employers include some big names alongside local organizations:
Act Now Education, Boeing, Child Youth Programs (Federal Positions), Dirty Deeds Septic, Edward Jones, Hexcel, Island Transit, Janicki, Kay & Associates, Maxim Healthcare, SILFAB Commercial, SpaceX, Tulalip Tribal Police, United Association of Veterans in Pipefitting, Washington State Patrol and Washington State WorkSource.
More employers are expected to confirm in the coming weeks.
How to prepare:
- Bring several copies of your resume
- Research the employers on the list that interest you most
- Prepare a short introduction — who you are, what you're looking for and what you bring
- Arrive early
