About the Role The Economic Development Council for Island County is looking for an Executive Director to drive economic growth and community prosperity across Island County. You'll lead business retention, expansion and attraction efforts, manage strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations, oversee financial management and compliance, diversify revenue through grants and sponsorships and serve as the primary spokesperson for the EDC. You'll build relationships with local government, business leaders, educational institutions and community organizations while leading a small staff and reporting to the Board of Directors. A senior leadership role for someone who understands the unique opportunities and challenges of building a thriving economy in a rural island community.
