Valid driver's license required — must be comfortable driving an F-150 with trailer
Must be able to work outdoors in varied terrain and weather for full shifts
Must be able to perform strenuous physical work — brush clearing, trail construction, digging
Background in natural resources, ecology or conservation helpful but not required

About the Role The Whidbey Camano Land Trust is looking for a motivated, outdoorsy Summer Stewardship Technician to help protect and restore the forests, shorelines and farmlands that make this Island so special. You'll remove invasive plants, maintain trails and public access sites, water native plantings, collect seeds, assist with volunteer work parties and drive across the Island to Land Trust preserves — all in a day's work. A wonderful summer role for someone who wants their time outside to mean something.
