Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, graphic design, digital media or related field required — qualifying experience may substitute
3+ years communications, marketing or public relations experience required
Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator required
Website content management experience preferred
Photojournalism and publication copywriting experience highly preferred
Must pass criminal background fingerprint clearance

About the Role Coupeville School District is looking for a Communication Specialist to support and coordinate communications across print, web and social media. You'll write and edit newsletters, reports and website content, design flyers and graphics, manage social media platforms, photograph district events, maintain digital asset libraries and support crisis communications when needed. A creative, varied role for an experienced communications professional who wants part-time, meaningful work at the heart of the Coupeville community.
