2+ years food preparation or cooking experience required — camp, restaurant or institutional setting
Current Food Handler's Permit required
ServSafe Certification preferred
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Flexible availability required including early mornings, weekends and holidays
Valid Washington State driver's license preferred

About the Role YMCA Camp Casey in Coupeville is looking for a Food Service Lead to help run their dining hall — the heart of the camp experience. You'll prepare and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner for campers, conference groups and retreat guests, lead kitchen operations in the Food Service Director's absence, maintain safe food handling standards, assist with menu planning and help train seasonal kitchen staff. A rewarding, active role for someone who takes pride in feeding people well in a mission-driven camp environment.
