Bachelor's degree in social work, human services or related field OR minimum 2 years human services experience required
Experience working with older adults and people with disabilities preferred
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and appropriate liability insurance required
Must pass Washington State Patrol background check every 2 years
Bilingual Spanish preferred
Occasional evenings, weekends and travel required

About the Role Island Senior Resources is looking for a Community Resource Specialist to serve as a frontline link between older adults, adults with disabilities and the services that help them live with dignity and independence. You'll conduct client intake interviews, assess needs, make referrals, provide ongoing follow-up and develop relationships with community partners across Whidbey Island.

You'll work out of both the Bayview and Oak Harbor offices — and occasionally in client homes and community settings. Meaningful, people-centered work that directly improves the lives of your Island neighbors every day.
