About the Role The City of Oak Harbor is looking for an Arborist Intern to join their Parks team for an approximately 20-week grant-funded assignment. You'll learn hands-on arboricultural skills under a lead arborist — tree climbing, chainsaw operation and maintenance, simple rigging for pruning and removal, brush management and safe chipper operation.

You'll also update the city tree inventory, water newly installed trees and assist with general parks maintenance. A genuine opportunity to learn a skilled outdoor trade with a supportive city team.
