Weather Forecaster II RedTown Technical Solutions | Full-Time & Part-Time | On-Site | NAS Whidbey Island

Bachelor's degree in meteorology or related scientific field OR minimum 2 years aviation forecasting experience with DOD or government agency required
Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance
Visual acuity correctable to 20/20 required

About the Role RedTown Technical Solutions is looking for Weather Forecaster II professionals to support the MQ-4C Triton Mission at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island. You'll provide aviation weather briefings, pre-mission planning briefs, real-time forecast updates and Air Vehicle Operator turnover briefings across multiple Areas of Responsibility including INDOPACOM, EUCOM, CENTCOM and beyond. Work hours are variable including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. A specialized, high-responsibility role for an experienced aviation forecaster with a security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
