Staff Accountant Island Transit | Full-Time | Permanent | On-Site

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
1–5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Working knowledge of GAAP and GASB accounting standards
Must possess a valid Washington State driver's license
Employment contingent on criminal background check and 5-year motor vehicle history report

You'll prepare and post journal entries, reconcile GL and bank accounts, assist with month-end and year-end close, and help maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules.
